Voter Turnout Rates in Oakland County Communities, 2022 Primary

Voter turnout ranged from a low of 11.6 percent in Hazel Park to a high of 74.7 percent in Lake Angelus. The chart below shows turnout by community from low to high.
A number of school districts in the tri-county area used the May 4 election date option as their opportunity to go to the voters with a School Bond proposal.
Oakland County had a slightly higher rejection rate of 1.7 percent of their total 261,890 absentee ballots.
Oakland County, with one of the highest educational attainment rates in the state, had an Aug. 4, 2020 turnout rate of only 37.1 percent!
