Holiday Extravaganza announces four one-time, $5,000 Making a Difference Scholarships presented by the Fran Anderson Legacy Fund.
Six graduates were each awarded the $1,000 scholarship: Abrianna Carsley, Paige Comito, Gavin Cowan, Logan Marshall, Kiley Myrand, and Gavin Poppei.
Completed applications must be returned, no later than Friday, April 7, 2023
“Those who have experienced foster care typically don’t have the support systems in place to assist with college costs. Every dollar helps create opportunities for our youth who have experienced foster care.”

But it was her ‘motivation to create environmental educations opportunities’ for the community that made her applications stand out among others.
The Huntington Woods Men’s Club has three $1,500 college scholarships for teens who have made a difference in our community through volunteering and community service.
Even though the luncheon is cancelled, the Club will still present the scholarship.

The scholarship is a way for the Smith’s to encourage other young people in the community, a way to remind young people to not play around train tracks, and a way to honor their son. This year Jillian Rossman and Darious Alvis, Jr. were the selected recipients.
