The Numbers Behind Oakland County’s Transit Millage Vote

Auburn Hills, Berkley, Clawson, Commerce Twp., Data-Based Stories, Farmington/Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Franklin, Hazel Park, Highland Twp., Holly, Huntington Woods, Keego Harbor, Northville, Novi, Oak Park, Oakland Township, Orchard Lake, Oxford, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac, Royal Oak Township, Slide, Southfield, Springfield Twp/Davisburg, Troy, Walled Lake, Waterford

Judging from past votes and the fact that over half of the county’s jurisdictions had voted to opt-out in the past, I was predicting a rather close loss for the measure.

Boy was I wrong!
