Madison Heights Celebrates Juneteenth

In addition to raising the flag, a special Juneteenth-themed scholarship program was announced.
“This sign outside of the courthouse is just another reminder of where we’ve come from, and the potential we all have when we work together.”
They also summed up the mood, which was a mix of somber remembrance for the past and optimism for the future as the community came together against racism.
