With the closure of the Main Art Theatre in Downtown Royal Oak, these memories have come back for untold numbers of people who found joy, learning, and love inside this place of stories, sound effects, buttered popcorn and silver screen magic.
In addition, the company has a wholesale side delivering bagels to coffee shops, offices and restaurants as well as Motor City Casino, among other venues in Detroit and the surrounding area.
Several tables are staffed by volunteers selling items that were donated to help fund the museum and maintain the historic property. Vintage items, antique furniture, craft supplies, decorative items through many eras, and even clothing mean for some fun shopping options.
Even though the luncheon is cancelled, the Club will still present the scholarship.
