On Saturday, July 17, 2010 The Ferndale Community Foundation and FernCare had a pass-the-hat kickball game, with the donations being split between the two teams. The Ferndale Seniors sold hot dogs and refreshments and livened up the sidelines at Martin Road Park with their cheering. “We’re cheering for both sides,” said the boisterous Sharron Chess. “The Community Foundation and FernCare are both great, and we just love them both.
