Pocket Park in Orion Twp Gets Giant “Playful Dragon”
In addition to the Playful Dragon, the park features a short pathway around the perimeter with a story on signs written and designed by Advanced Placement Students at Lake Orion High School.
Farewell to the West Breckenridge Dragon
Scott Wright’s father created the dragon for his son a decade ago. He also made an alligator, which is less prominently guarding the opposite side of the front lawn, poking out from the hedges.
Celebrate a Day of Books and Roses
Friends of the Ferndale Library and The Society of Sant Jordi invite the public to enjoy a full day of cultural festivities. Admission is $5 and includes a complimentary rose and used book from the Friends of Ferndale Library bookstore. Kids 12 and under are free. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Library for community programs.
