The FernCare donation was the result of over 11,000 transactions being rounded up. FernCare Free Clinic is a free medical clinic open to anyone between the ages of 19 through 64 who has no health insurance and no primary care provider.

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan announced grants totaling $14 million in the third quarter to support organizations primarily in southeast Michigan that are focused on the arts, civic life, education, environment, health, human services and youth.
“There is no stigma for asking for help as it relates to emotional issues,” he said. “We want to underscore the importance of staying physically healthy, financially healthy and emotionally well throughout your career.”
