Here is the list of candidates we were able to interview for the Aug. 4 primary.
Throughout the month of September, the Michigan Parks and Recreation Foundation is hosting a Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) to raise funds to provide accessible recreation opportunities for parks and programs. You can run, walk, skateboard, bike, or swim a 5K during the month of September!
Residents will be required to wear a mask while visiting the Center during their scheduled appointment time and residency will be verified by attendant.

Commerce Township Supervisor David Scott is running as a write in in the Aug. 4, 2020 Republican Primary to retain his seat.
Incumbents Lise Blades, Kristofer Enlow and Sean O’Neil are on the ballot as well as Andy Fletcher, Robert Swain, and Mark Venus.
In the Republican Primary the candidates are incumbents Brian Birney, Julia Dalrymple, and Michael Flood, Jr as well as Marie Monaco, and Kimberly Urbanowski.
The resolution also calls for the City to “implement at least two economically viable renewable energy or energy efficiency projects, policies, and practices annually now until 2030,
Support group meetings let grandparents meet others who are in a similar position and can relate to the ups and downs of their situation.
In the Aug. 4 Republican Primary the candidates are Gabi Grossbard and Charles Langworthy.
In the race for Congress 9th District, Incumbent Andy Levin, a Democrat, is running for re-election.
