Dales Neighborhood Group Toasts 2013 Goals
At the Jan. 9 meeting, the Dales Group divided into three committees – Neighborhood Crime, Social Events and Physical Improvements. Each will organize ideas and actions that the whole group can be part of.

bubble_and_bark_ad_ferndale115Newcomer Jim O’Donnell was voted President of the Board by his fellow members. He was sworn in by Ferndale Mayor Dave Couter.
The other officers are the three experienced Board Members. Karen Twomey was selected Vice President. Chuck Moeser was selected Treasurer. And Nan Kerr-Mueller was selected Treasurer.
Nardone has three successful big projects under his belt. He’s started a company that specializes in delivering products to adults in a private way, a volunteer group that mows the grass at inner-city parks, and achieved national fame as a pumpkin carving extraordinaire. James O’Donnell, President of the Ferndale Public Library Board, announced his resignation at a recent library board meeting. His resignation took effect on December 31, 2012 at 11:59PM. O’Donnell was first appointed to fill the vacancy left by Kevin Deegan-Krause in 2009, then elected to his own seat.
Last November, he was elected to a seat on the Ferndale School Board.
