Now that the spring count is in the books, I wanted to see how Oakland County’s traditional K-12 districts have fared over this ten-year period, 2014-15 to 2024-25.
Just a week after voting to buy out their school district’s superintendent contrat, four Hazel Park School Board Members neglected to attend a special meeting Monday.
The Coordinator will be responsible for soliciting artists, creating marketing materials, overseeing installations, updating gallery website and social media, manage art sales and more.
“We know this is the first year of a new tax, and we want to help businesses adjust smoothly as we implement this policy,” State Treasurer Rachael Eubanks said.
In spite of a fruitless investigation, and a room full of support for the Superintendent, the Hazel Park School Board voted 4-3 on Monday to buy out the contract of Superintendent Amy Wilcox.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office again is asking area houses of worship who want to learn additional techniques to keep their congregations safe and secure to register for an upcoming class.
