Birmingham Republican Reclaims Sign as Confederate Flag Spurs Reactions in Ferndale

A Ferndale woman’s Confederate flag has neighbors upset, and the signs on her yard placed with it prompted a political candidate from Birmingham to come and take his sign back.

In the Aug. 4 Democratic Primary voters in Oakland County will chose between incumbent Jessica Cooper and challenger Karen McDonald for Oakland County Prosecutor.

The winner of the primary will then face Lin Goetz who is unopposed in the Republican Primary.
