The free event, sponsored by Women Confronting Racism, will explore the intersection of race, racism, and health disparities in the state of Michigan.
“Workplace outbreaks are increasing along with the state’s community numbers,” said Director of COVID-19 Workplace Safety Sean Egan.
To be eligible, an organization must be a non-profit with tax-exempt status, be physically located in Oakland County and provide most of its services to county residents.
All members of the affected station, approximately 30 firefighters, are currently under quarantine out of caution.
