The resignation came just four days after Superintendent Angel Abdulahad retired in the wake of a lawsuit alleging financial improprieties, human resource issues, and whistleblower retaliation.
“We continue to believe that our county government can improve the lives of all our residents – and we’re proving it every day.”
Employees outlined the multiple complaints to the school board, and on Nov. 18, 2025, Abdulahad was placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
