The Detroit Institute of Arts Inside|Out pieces are being installed in the 26 cities chosen for the 2022 program in cities throughout the Metro Detroit area.
The group is based in Ann Arbor, but has planted trees in many local communities, including Oak Park, Royal Oak, Rochester Hills, Novi, Pontiac, Clarkston, Lake Orion and others.
A full-time Executive Director is expected to significantly enhance MSP’s capacity to implement programs and services in downtown Pontiac, which has depended primarily on volunteer efforts since the organization’s inception in 2017.

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners adopted two resolutions at Wednesday night’s meeting that are aimed at increasing housing security in Oakland County.

According to the Bureau of Fire Services, fire-related deaths across Michigan are up 144% compared to the same 34 days in 2021.
The partnership groups, which are called the “Regional Partnership for Broadband Infrastructure and Equity” and the “Regional Partnership for Water Infrastructure,” will establish a framework to address a wide range of internet and broadband accessibility and water infrastructure challenges facing the Southeast Michigan region.
