Due to apparent inconsistencies, The Ferndale 115 News decided to look further into the claim of the cancellation happening on October 1st. To begin with, Meier cited The November 3rd article as “the final straw.” Secondly, Warnick campaigned throughout the month of October on the benefits of the contract, and never once mentioned the cancellation at the Policy meeting or Board meetings that took place in October.

In 2012 The Ferndale 115 News began raising money through the sale of $15 Thank You Ads. The ads below are being retired to make room for 2013. To start of f the year we have a very ambitious goal of selling 100 Thank You ads by the end of February so that Editor & Publisher Crystal Proxmire can go to the Media Reform Conference in April.

Each December, The Ferndale Beautification Commission takes nominations and selects the winners of the Holiday Light Awards. One winner from each quadrant of the city is selected, plus one business.
