As Ferndalians start to think of who they will vote for Nov. 5, one name they may notice missing from the ballot is that of Scott Galloway. The co-owner of Galloway and Collens Law Firm and 12-year city council veteran has decided that three terms is enough and it’s time to focus on other things.

The 9th Annual Green Cruise took place in Downtown Ferndale, with several bike rides, a green parade, and a slew of environmentally-friendly vendors and organizations lining E. 9 Mile Road. Bikes were a big part of the event, but so were other people-powered contraptions, such as skateboards and wheelchairs.
