In the race for Commerce Township Supervisor, there are three non-incumbents running: Democrat Pamela Sue Jackson, Republican Larry Eugene Gary Jr, and Libertarian Bruce Jaquays.
According to the campaign page, even while closed, expenses run well over $10,000 a month for rent, electrical service, and maintenance on the machines. Many are antiques; one is more than 100 years old.

For voters in the Royal Oak School District, there are six candidates running for four positions on the school board.
Candidates are Melissa Baldwin, Heidi Fortress, incumbent Rose Mary Hammonds, incumbent Charles Hemple, Ian Lloyd, Dawn Rice, Kristy Schlak, and Lance Starter.
The candidates are Michael Brady, Kelly Brault, Rita Davis, Robbin Hopinks, incumbent Wayne Kakuda, and Lucille Washington.
Over two-thirds (77.0 percent) of the requested ballots were returned, and these returned ballots represented 70.8 percent of the total votes cast.
“The data proves we have changing demographics. Stagnant housing does not respond to the needs of the community and I think this gets us moving in the right direction,” Ferndale Mayor Melanie Piana said.
The Health Division offers drive-thru testing on Mondays and Wednesdays at the South Oakland Health Center at 27725 Greenfield Road in Southfield; Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Oakland County government campus, 1200 N.
