In the race for County Commissioner for the 16th District, incumbent Penny Luebs is unopposed in the Democratic Primary.

In the race for Oakland Township Trustee there are six candidates running for four spots, all of whom are running on the Republican ticket.
State Representative of the 35th District Kyra Harris Bolden is being challenged in the Aug. 4, 2020 Democratic Primary by Shadia Martini.
State Representative Padma Kuppa, a Democrat, of the 41st District is running for reelection. Also on the ballot is Republican Andrew Sosnoski.
On the Republican side voters will chose between Tina Barton and Patrick Wilson.
The county Board of Commissioners approved a $5 million allocation from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act last week to fund the program. An additional $3.1 million comes from the federal community development block grants.
Veterans, politicians, kids’ groups, and decorated horses were among those who marched along Maple and Park Streets with a grand finale of police and fire vehicles.
Site work will once again commence this week. Portions of each park will be closed during construction for safety purposes.

In the race for Rose Township Clerk the candidates are incumbent Debbbie Miller as well as Linda Stouffer, who are facing off in the Republican Primary on Aug. 4, 2020.
Those candidates are Steve Anderson, Martin Ciurlik, Peter Piccinato, Michael Powell, Scott Ruggles, Liz Fessler Smith and Andrea Voorheis.
