Martin said FernCare has over 70 volunteers who are the organization’s “doctors, pharmacists, phlebotomists, nurses, medical assistants” and treat the clinic’s patients.

The FernCare donation was the result of over 11,000 transactions being rounded up. FernCare Free Clinic is a free medical clinic open to anyone between the ages of 19 through 64 who has no health insurance and no primary care provider.

Matrix Human Services will conduct clinic sessions at FernCare that include testing, counseling, case management and medical care through its extended network to patients in the community.
