2026 Candidate Interview: Brendan Leddy for State Representative District 52

Clarkson, Lake Angelus, Independence Township, Springfield Township, and Waterford Township – In the race for State Representative of the 52nd District, candidates in the Aug 4, 2026 Democratic Primary are Brendan Leddy and Tom Owensby. The winner of the primary is expected to face incumbent Mike Harris, who is unopposed in the Republican Primary, on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Michigan House District 52 includes Clarkson, Lake Angelus, Independence Township, and portions of Springfield and Waterford Townships.
The position has a two-year term.
