2026 Candidate Interview: Roman Gaskey for State Representative District 54

Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Oakland Township and Orion Township, MI – In the race for State Representative in the 54th District, there are two Republican candidates in the Aug 4 primary: Roman Gaskey and Jeffrey Omtvedt.
The winner of the primary will face Democrat Sarah Pounds, who is unopposed in the primary, on the Nov. 3 ballot.
The 54th District includes part of Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, part of Bloomfield Township, part of Oakland Township, and Orion Township.
The position has a two-year term.
