Oakland County Fair at Springfield Oaks July 10-19
Davisburg, MI – The best week of summer is right around the corner with the opening of the Oakland County Fair at Springfield Oaks County Park in Davisburg July 10-19. Ten days of unforgettable memories, fabulous food, thrilling rides, exciting entertainment and local traditions will kick off with a spectacular grand opening celebration on Friday, July 10.
In alignment with the national celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the enduring spirit of American agriculture, youth development and community engagement that has defined the Oakland County Fair for generations will be highlighted in several different ways during the Opening Day Celebration.
The festivities begin with the dedication of a historic marker. Commemorating the Oakland County Fair’s service during the Civil War, the marker recognizes the fair’s longstanding role in supporting agriculture, community and national efforts.
The grand opening ceremony will continue with a color guard presentation, patriotic color guard and recognition of local veterans and active-duty service members as Opening Day is also Military Appreciation Day. Military personnel receive free admission with valid military identification on July 10.
The fair is presented by Oakland County Parks, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary. In recognition of this milestone and its continued partnership with the fair, there will be a community celebration featuring free cake and ice cream for the first 300 attendees. In addition, the first 400 Oakland County residents to register at OakFair.org to attend the Opening Day Celebration will receive a free one-day parking pass, courtesy of Oakland County Parks.
The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
“Opening Day 2026 will be more than just the start of the Fair. It’s a celebration of our history, our community, and our country,” said LC Scramlin, General Manager of the Oakland County Fair. “We are proud to partner with Oakland County Parks to create a meaningful and memorable experience for our community.”
