Crowdfunding Campaign Has Matching Donations for Ferndale’s Harding Park Skating Rink

Ferndale MI – The City of Ferndale has an exciting opportunity to give back to the community!
Ferndale Parks and Recreation is excited to kick off the Harding Rink Rollout, a grant-fueled partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to transform the beloved Harding Park skating rink.
For over 50 years, Harding Park’s rink has been a favorite meeting place for the Ferndale community. The City has maintained the rink as long as possible, but now it needs more than repairs.
The plan is to build a safe, welcoming, and modern rink that everyone can enjoy for years to come.
Donations will help us replace the aging rink with new sports flooring, create smooth paths from parking areas to trails, add comfortable benches and bins, introduce native plants to improve water management, and provide accessible parking spots.
MEDC will match every donation we receive if we reach our $62,500 goal. If you can help, your gift will have double the impact.
