Seven Students Earn Pleasant Ridge Woman’s Club Scholarships

Pleasant Ridge, MI – The Pleasant Ridge Woman’s Club (PRWC) awarded scholarships to seven outstanding high school seniors on Sunday afternoon, May 17, at the 4 Ridge Community Center. Two are graduates of Ferndale High School, three from Berkley High School, and one each from Royal Oak High School and U of D Jesuit.
Many of the awardees’ parents, grandparents and siblings, as well as members of the Woman’s Club, attended the celebration.
Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients: Brody Contat, Molly Truesdell, Orlando Avila, Sloan Scully, Edgar Wardowski, Mylin Scott and Tabitha Weaver.
The annual scholarship presentation is funded with proceeds from Club events including the popular Trivia Nights and from thoughtful contributions made by members of the extended community.
