Water Use Restrictions Lifted, Boil Water Advisory Continues

Auburn Hills, Orion Township, MI -Great Lakes Water Authority repairs on the broken water main have been completed. Water pressure has resumed to normal for Auburn Hills, Oakland Township, Orion Township, Village of Lake Orion, and Rochester Hills. However there may be some fluctuations as communities flush their systems.
All usage restrictions have been lifted in the impacted communities, as well as in Pontiac where residents were asked to conserve water as well.
Boil alerts remain in place for all of Orion Township, including the Village of Lake Orion, as well as portions of Oakland Township and the NW portion of Rochester Hills. Residents and businesses in these areas can run water in order to flush their own plumbing. Boiling is still necessary until the advisory is lifted.
