Greenfield Road Closing at I-696 for Two Months for Bridge Work
Southfield, Oak Park, MI – Beginning 7 am, Monday, May 18, Greenfield Road is closing over I-696 in Southfield/Oak Park for approximately two months for bridge work. Reminder that the Greenfield exit/entrance ramps are already closed.
The detour for NB/SB Greenfield is to go EB/WB on I-696 service drive and use the crossover/turnaround bridges for access to Greenfield.
Reminder of current ramp/lane closures:
- WB I-696 has two lanes open from Dequindre Road to I-75
- WB I-696 ramps to NB/SB I-75
- NB/SB I-75 ramps to WB I-696
- WB I-696 shared ramp to Lahser, US-24/Telegraph and M-10/Northwestern
Upcoming ramp closures:
- M-1/Woodward will be closed late May
- Southfield Road will be closed in late summer
