Farmington Hills Police Investigating Homicide of Man Found in Woodland Hills Park

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police Department received a 911 call around 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from an individual advising that they found a deceased male on a trail in Woodland Hills Park. Officers responded to the scene at the park, located at 26655 Farmington Road, where they interviewed the caller. Evidence technicians and detectives also responded to the location to conduct further investigations. The police department is investigating the death as a homicide.
The victim has been identified as a 64-year-old male resident of Farmington Hills. The victim’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notifications.
