Lane and Ramp Closures Happening Next Two Weekends at I-96/I-75 Interchange
(MDOT, April 15, 2026)
Detroit, MI – Maintenance repairs require the closure of I-75 with lane/ramp closures on I-96/I-75 and the I-96/I-75 ramps for the EB I-96 bridge over I-75 and the Buchanan bridge, east of Warren. This work will occur this weekend and next weekend. EXPECT DELAYS.
9pm Friday 4/17/26 – 5am Monday 4/20/26
and
9pm Friday 4/24/26 – 5am Monday 4/27/26
-NB I-75, I-96 to M-10 will be CLOSED for road repairs.
Detour – NB I-75 to EB I-94 to SB M-10 to NB I-75.
Currently in place – late May
- SB I-75 at I-96, 1 LANE OPEN, 1 lane closed
- SB I-75 CD/M-10 ramp CLOSED to SB I-75
- Detour – NB M-10 to WB I-94 to EB 96/SB I-75.
- EB I-96, Warren to I-75, 2 LANES OPEN, 2 lanes closed
- EB I-96 ramp CLOSED to NB I-75 and NB I-75 CD/M-10
- Detour – EB I-94 to SB M-10 to NB I-75.
