Oakland County Restaurant Quest: Two Guys from Italy in Royal Oak

Royal Oak, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a place that’s an easy and inexpensive option for carryout pizza, pasta and more – Two Guys from Italy in Royal Oak.
Whether its a gooey deep-dish or a classic round, Two Guys from Italy serves up pizza that is soft and comforting, with ample fresh topping, meltingly good cheese, and sauce that is the perfect mix of savory and sweet. The location, just south of 12 Mile on Campbell, is convenient for me so I’ve had a few of their pies over the years when in a pinch for dinner plans.
Pictured here is the Steak and Cheese pizza, made with green peppers, mushrooms, sliced onion, shaved steak and Swiss cheese. Another tasty pizza was the Special. This came topped with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, green peppers, onion, and bacon.
Two Guys from Italy also serves dinners. Fish and Chips came with tasty fries and garlic bread. I also have had the Pint of Spaghetti, a perfectly convenient bowl of pasta with a meaty tomato sauce, which I also got with a small side salad.
Chicken wings are also on the menu, including the Flavor Baked Wings, with regular BBQ or Hot and Spicy sauce.
The Chicken Parmesan Sub is another tasty choice. With a toasted bun, breaded chicken, ample sauce, and melty cheese, this is an easy lunch or dinner option.
Other pizza choices include the BLT, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Alfredo, Hawaiian, and even the Belly Buster which has every topping they have. Side dishes include Bacon and Onion Sticks, Jalapeno Poppers, Onion Rings, Deep Fried Mushrooms and more.
As far as subs go, there are many varieties including the Ham and Cheese, Turkey, Meatball, Sub, and Vegetarian. They even offer burgers and fries.
