Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Warns of Email Scam

Commerce Township, MI – Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has warned those on their email list about a scam.
In an email to members LACC shared “It has been brought to our attention that emails are circulating requesting interest in acquiring the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Email list 2025. The Chamber is not affiliated with these requests. Please DO NOT CLICK on anything within the email or reply.
“This is not affiliated with the Lakes Area Chamber in any way. See below for a sample email to avoid if it lands in your inbox. If you experience a similar situation and need confirmation that it is a correspondence from the chamber, we can be reached email or on the office phone at (248) 624-2826.”
