Oakland Thrive Restaurant Quest: Taqueria Victoria in Farmington

Farmington, MI – Taqueria Victoria in Farmington is a small Mexican joint on Grand River in Farmington, with a thriving carryout business and a few tables for those who want to dine in.
For my visit I had the taco salad and the tostada dinner. The taco salad was a crispy fried flour tortilla bowl with a choice of protein served with lettuce, tomato, green pepper, cheese, and guacamole. I opted for the steak. The salad had large chunks of veggies and a generous serving of beef.
The tostadas had meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream served with beans and rice. The corn tortillas were crispy and the toppings were crisp and fresh.
Other classic Mexican dishes include chimichangas, fajitas, tamales, carne asada, and tacos. They also have botanas, made with Chips, beans and chorizo, lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, guacamole, sour cream. They even have a kids menu with milanesa, quesadilla, and taquito options.
