Driver Runs into the Front of Red Olive Restaurant in Ferndale

Ferndale, MI – A vehicle crashed into the front of Red Olive Restaurant at 750 W. 9 Mile Road in Downtown Ferndale on Wednesday afternoon.

Ferndale Police Chief Dennis Emmi told Oakland County Times that an “elderly woman mistook the brake for the accelerator while parking.

“No one was injured,” Chief Emmi said.  “The business was evacuated and closed until it could be evaluated by building officials.”
