Public Can Vote Online for Favorite Artsy Tree in Rochester Hills Competition
(City of Rochester Hills, Oct. 14, 2025)
Rochester Hills, MI – Twenty one metal trees, decorated by teams from Rochester Hills businesses, line a section of the Clinton River Trail just waiting for people to check them out and vote for their favorite.
The tree sculptures are part of a contest among businesses through the city for the RHISE Cup. Over a span of 8 weeks, teams are competing in various challenges to earn points. The team with the most points wins and will take home the RHISE CUP! One of those contests is art.
The trees are shaped like the city’s famous Bebb Oak, which is also featured in it’s log. And the theme of the art is the city’s motto: Innovative by Nature.
Check out the sculptures in person, sprawling along the Clinton River Trail from the Leach Road Trailhead to the marker where a mastodon skeleton had been found.
