Sept 26 – Glow-Bye Summer Event Features Family Fun as Sun Sets at Friendship Park
Orion Township, MI – Light up the night with Oakland County Parks (OCP) during the Glow-Bye Summer event from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at Friendship Park in Orion Township. This free, luminous send-off to summer takes advantage of earlier sunsets to usher in the fall season with vibrant, colorful nighttime activities sure to delight all ages.
“We’re looking forward to a glowing evening filled with fun for the whole family,” said OCP Recreation Program Supervisor Melissa Nawrocki. “From glow putt-putt golf and disc golf to a live performance from the band, Empty Canvas, it’s sure to be a memorable evening. We hope everyone wears their best neon outfits to match the theme!”
Festivities will include food trucks, face painting, glow putt-putt and disc golf, crafts, inflatables (socks required), a glow photo spot, art and live music from 7-8:30 p.m. with a Hot Air Balloon Glow from 7-9 p.m.
