Oak Park Schools Seeking Applicants for School Board Vacancy

Oak Park, MI – The Oak Park School District is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education. The appointed individual will serve through December 31, 2026, and will be succeeded by the individual elected during the November 2026 General Election. Application Process Interested individuals must submit an online application along with a resume for consideration.
Applications must be submitted to the District Office no later than Friday, September 5, 2025, by the end of the business day.
Applicants must also be available for an interview on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be a qualified school elector, which means:
• At least 18 years of age
• A citizen of the United States
• A resident of the State of Michigan for at least 30 days
• A registered voter residing within the Oak Park School District
