Oakland Thrive Restaurant Quest: Havana Tacos and Burger in Oak Park

Oak Park, MI – Havana Tacos and Burger in Oak Park has a special spicy sauce that makes their tacos and burgers unique. The Havana-inspired flavor might be a bit much for those who don’t like heat. But those who like a little kick might enjoy a visit here.
I ordered the chicken tacos, which come in a trio with soft fried shells with Shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, onion, parsley, and Havana sauce. I also ordered the fried corn seasoned with butter and Cajun spices. The crispy shells and succulent shredded chicken were coated with the special sauce.
They also have shrimp and birria tacos, as well as quesadas, burgers, chicken wings, mac bites, and fries. Beverage-wise they offer Jarrito sodas and Grape Koolaid.
Havana Tacos and Burger is located at 24711 Coolidge Hwy in Oak Park. They do not have a website, but they do have online ordering through Doordash.
