Police Seek to Identify Deceased Man Found in Pine Lake

West Bloomfield, MI – Oakland County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was discovered floating in West Bloomfield Township’s Pine Lake lake on Tuesday.
Personnel from the Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team and the Special Investigations Unit were called to the 3200 block of Pine Lake Road shortly after 8:30 p.m. Officers from West Bloomfield Township were at the scene, confirmed the man was deceased and requested assistance from the Sheriff’s Office.
The victim is a black male who was 6-feet tall and weighed 140 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black jogging pants and size 10 black Addias athletic shoes. He is believed to be between 20-40 years old.
No identification was found with the body. An autopsy was scheduled today. There were no reports of anyone missing in the area. Anyone who may know the identity of the victim or the circumstances surrounding his death should call the Sheriff’s Office at 248-858- 4950.
