White Lake Police Seek Info After Homeowner Shoots at Group Breaking into Garage, Killing One and Wounding Another
(White Lake Police, July 8, 2025)
White Lake, MI – In the early morning hours of July 8th, 2025, a group of seven individuals entered a detached garage at a residence in the 9000 block of Mandon Dr. The homeowner was alerted to the incident through a video surveillance system.
The homeowner exited the residence and fired several shots toward the individuals who entered the garage.
All seven subjects fled the scene on foot.
Oakland County Central Dispatch notified White Lake Township Police that there were two individuals in Commerce Township, at and near Huron Valley Hospital, both with gunshot wounds.
Despite lifesaving efforts, one of the subjects succumbed to injuries. The second subject was stabilized and is currently receiving medical treatment.
