Rochester, MI – Come shop Downtown Rochester’s Makers’ Market on Saturday, June 21!
This artisanal, crafter vendor open air show is the perfect place to experience the unique and handcrafted works of local, small businesses.
This event is not only about shopping – the Downtown Rochester Makers’ Market is an opportunity to connect with the makers themselves, learn about their craft, and support their businesses.
“The Maker’s market will be a great way for shoppers to immerse themselves in the creativity of the community. From small businesses, creators, and artists there’s a lot to offer” said Jenna O’Dell, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “With over 45 artisan vendors you’ll find an incredible selection of handmade products”.
The Makers’ Market is sponsored by Genisys Credit Union, and the event will take place June 21 on West Fourth St. in Downtown Rochester and will operate from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Vendors will range from candles, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, paper goods, porch signs and more! You can find a full list of vendors on our website at downtownrochestermi.com.
The first 300 shoppers that visit the DDA booth at the front of the Market will receive a free Makers’ Market tote bag for all your Makers’ Market treasures!
Not only can you enjoy shopping but, there will also be musical performances by Sarah Karras Music 10:00 am – Noon, Lady J from 12:30 – 2:30 pm and local musician Bill Russell from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Other upcoming Downtown Rochester events include the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market, every Saturday May – October, Sidewalk Sales on July 17 – 19, Dancin’ in the Street on July 18, and the Downtown Rochester Movies in the Moonlight series on July 19, 26, and August 2.
