Volunteer to Pull Invasive Garlic Mustard at Lyon Oaks and Highland Oaks
Lyon Township, Highland Township, MI – Help restore park land and understory for native spring flowers during a series of upcoming Garlic Mustard Pulls. Join Natural Resources staff to learn what to look for and how to assist with efforts to pull the invasive garlic mustard at our parks.
Garlic mustard pulls will take place as follows:
- May 14 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Lyon Oaks County Park in Lyon Township. Meet at the trailhead.
- May 18 from 1-4 p.m. at Lyon Oaks. Meet at the trailhead.
- May 28 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Highland Oaks County Park in Highland. Meet at the trailhead parking lot.
