On May 1, 2025, at approximately 5:50 AM, the Waterford Regional Fire
Department was dispatched to a structure fire at Fork n Pint restaurant, located in Waterford Township.
The first arriving crew was on scene within five minutes at 5:55 AM.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire through the roof of the structure. Crews

Squad 9, Rescue 1, Rescue 3, and Rescue 5. Additional command and investigation personnel, including

assistance was provided by Independence Township Fire Department, West Bloomfield Fire Department,
and Bloomfield Township Fire Department.
Crews on scene also received support from restoration companies Servpro and Belfor, who assisted with
initial recovery efforts.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all personnel, the fire was contained to the building of origin,
preventing spread to neighboring homes. The structure sustained significant damage.
One firefighter sustained a minor injury during operations. The firefighter was transported to a local
hospital, treated, and released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Waterford Regional Fire Department Fire
Marshal Division. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
