ONTV Video: Kids Scoop Up 4,000 Eggs Thanks to Orion’s American Legion

Lake Orion, MI – Over 100 kids came out to the American Legion 233’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 19 in Downtown Lake Orion’s Children’s Park. Bob Gritzinger, Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, gave an interview with Orion ONTV, stating “This is a tradition going back at least a couple of decades.”
It began as an event for families involved with the Legion but expanded to include the broader community. This year over 4,000 plastic eggs filled with candy were given away, plus there was a pizza party afterwards.
