Southfield Schools Accepting Proposals for Sale of Two District Properties

Southfield, MI- Southfield Public Schools (the “School District”) through issuance of this Request is seeking information/ideas from interested entities/developers/purchasers for potential continued use or re-development/repurposing of the following surplus School District real properties for the benefit of the School District and the Community-at-Large:
- Former Bussey Early Childhood Center
- Location: 19080 West 12 Mile Road
- Size of Property: 9/10 +/- Acres
- Size of Building: Built in 1968 – 38.840 Square Feet
- Vacant Land:
- Location: E/S Inkster Road, South of Eleven Mile Road
- Size of Property: 50.00 +/- Acres
- Tax ID: 24-19-100-005
Please note that all information/ideas shall include a proposed concept plan for the continued use/redevelopment/repurposing, as well as a proposed consideration/financial package, relative to the subject real property. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all information/ideas, in whole or in part, at any time.
Southfield Public Schools is willing to provide walk-throughs of the subject properties in group formats, and not individually. Based on the level of interest, the School District will schedule such walk-throughs once there are a number of entities/developers/purchasers that contact the School District.
