OC Restaurant Quest: Sisters Cafe in Clarkston

Clarkston, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County has brought me to an adorable spot in Clarkston called Sisters Cafe. Their motto is “Good Food. Good Mood,” and the brunch I had there accomplished both.
In a bright setting with lots of windows, just the right amount of optimistic art, and strings of ceiling lights I had a lovely time writing and enjoying my meal. I ordered the Veggie Burger which came topped with olive relish and feta cheese. This was served with Michigan-made chips.
I also tried the Acai Bowl, a beautiful mix of purple Acai sorbet topped with granola and berries and served with honey. Both had healthy ingredients and thoughtful flavors.
Sisters Cafe has breakfast and lunch options, including omelettes, breakfast quesadillas, and pancakes. Sandwich-wise there are a few good choices, including Chicken Salad, Italian, Turkey, and Grilled Cheese, plus hamburgers for those aiming a little beefier.
The salad selection also looks delightful, including an Apple/Cherry Salad made with cucumbers, dried cherries, walnuts, green apple slices, feta, and raspberry vinaigrette.
