Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center Seeks Applications for Board Members

Ferndale, MI – Affirmations is seeking candidates interested in serving on its board of directors. If you feel committed and passionate about Affirmations’ mission – to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ Michiganders through education, programming, advocacy, and providing space for community connection – we encourage you to apply.
Aff Board members champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and organizational governance. In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities, board members must be active advocates and ambassadors for the organization, fully engaged in identifying and securing financial resources and partnerships, and committed to social justice and equity to advance Affirmations’ mission.
This call is open to all, but the board is specifically interested in applicants with nonprofit, human resources or healthcare experience.
