OC Restaurant Quest: Holly Cafe Now Serving Breakfast

Holly, MI – Holly Cafe is now serving breakfast!

I’ve written about this quaint Downtown Holly spot before, but just had to go back to try some of their new breakfast items.

Holly Cafe has always had great baked goods, and their cinnamon roll – drenched with frosting – is no exception. I also ordered the Croissant Magnifique, which is Ham, Egg, Swiss & Herb Cream Cheese on a Toasted Croissant . The high quality ingredients go so well together for a delicious start to the day.

Other breakfast sandwich options include the EGGstrodinary Turkey Bagel, The Breakfast Club, and the Breakfast Fiesta Burrito.

The Ham It Up Cari, named after the cafe’s owner, features ham, egg, and Swiss on toasted sourdough bread. And the B’s Cousin has sausage, egg and cheddar on a choice of plain or everything bagel.

Baked goods may vary, but some current selections include chocolate peanut butter cookies and fresh baked bread.

Holly Cafe also still serves lunch, with beautifully crafted sandwiches, soups, and salads. My favorite continues to be the beet and goat cheese salad, while the Cobb, Chicken Caesar, and Michigan salads are also popular choices.

For sandwiches one might enjoy the Italian Stallion made with Ham, Pepperoni, Banana Peppers, Diced Red Onions, Provolone Cheese, with Italian Mayo on a Grilled Flour Tortilla. There’s also the Veggie Hummus Wrap, Darn Good Grilled Cheese, the Cranberry Turkey and about a dozen more.
