OC Restaurant Quest: Fuji Japanese Buffet in Madison Heights
(Crystal A. Proxmire, orig. Dec. 12, 2018)
Madison Heights, MI – Fuji Japanese Buffet sits in the back corner of a shopping center at 32153 John R. in Madison Heights. Behind the simple facade is an impressive spread of food. They are best known for their seafood, including shrimp, clams, crayfish, octopus, and squid. There is a whole row of sushi. A row with delicious fruits. A row with baked deserts. And several rows with a range of foods that include sliced beef, tempura vegetables, cheese rangoon, chicken feet, seaweed, sesame balls, dumplings and more.
Fuji Buffet also serves cocktails, including a topical rainbow drink that had layers of booze topped with fresh blueberries and a pineapple slice.
This was a great place for lunch with friends and a chance to sample many new things. If you love seafood, this is an amazing place. If you have allergies or don’t like it, there are still enough other options to make it worth the visit.
