OC Restaurant Quest: Red Devil Italian Restaurant in Holly
(Crystal A. Proxmire, orig. Sept. 24, 2019)
Holly, MI – In Downtown Holly there’s an Italian Restaurant known for their tasty pizzas, and I finally had the chance to try one recently when out with a friend for dinner.
One of the most popular pies at the Red Devil Italian Restaurant is “The Special.” It starts with hand-tossed house-made dough and is topped with gobs of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onion, and green peppers.
We also had bread sticks for a warmup, which were served with ranch dipping sauce.
The restaurant has been a part of the community since 1973, with the well-worn booths and tables having seated many longtime Holly villagers at various stages of their lives. It’s a popular spot for kids sports teams as well as family celebrations.
Other items include lasagna, spaghetti, meatball subs, burgers, and a house special called a “pizzelli” which is a baked sandwich made with round bread.
Red Devil Italian Restaurant is located at 104 S Broad St, Holly, MI 48442, and there is a second location in Fenton at 1155 N Leroy St. Check them out online at www.myreddevil.com.

White Castle is a family-owned business. With steam-grilled sliders, crispy golden fries, fantastic slides like onion chips or mac and cheese nibblers, and the best chocolate shakes, White Castle is a by far our top choice for a fast-food meal.
