OC Restaurant Quest: Snap Taco in Lake Orion

Lake Orion, MI – Snap Taco makes tacos, tostadas, burritos and more in a snap! Serving up authentic Mexican street food, this restaurant at 575 N. Lapeer Road is great for dining in or getting some grub to go.
For my inaugural visit, I ordered a combo meal of two tacos with rice and beans. I opted for a a pulled chicken taco and a carnitas taco, both made with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cheese. These were fresh and delicious, with quality meats and toppings.
I also had a tostada, which is a crispy corn tortilla topped with beans, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, queso fresco cheese, sour cream and a choice of meat. I picked steak. This was very filling on it’s own, but it was great to try several of their items.
Other choices include tamales, chicken tortilla soup, fajitas, street corn and more. For dessert there are several festive choices including churros, fried ice cream, and sopapilla.
